From Seed to Shipment – A Journey of Quality
The preparation of Flue-Cured Virginia Tobacco begins with land preparation and seedling cultivation. Healthy seedlings are transplanted into carefully maintained fields, where they are nurtured through watering, fertilization, and pest management.
As the plants mature, leaves are harvested in stages to preserve quality and consistency. The leaves are then taken to curing barns for flue-curing—a process that enhances aroma, texture, and flavor through controlled heat.
After curing, tobacco is graded based on quality parameters such as color, texture, and condition. The graded leaves are processed through further drying, stem stripping, and fermentation to refine taste and reduce harshness. Finally, the processed tobacco is packed in bales or containers and prepared for distribution to manufacturers and global markets.
